My name is Maria Voelker. I was born in Germany but have been a permanent resident to the UK for many years and I very much enjoy, exploring the British Countryside and Coastal Resorts. Photography has always interested me, right from when I was a young girl. Having gathered experience in the field of 'Amateur Photography' for a while, I now aim to develope my skills as a Photo Artist. As such, my camera is my constant companion, as I like to be prepared for any occasion because you just never know, when you might get that 'lucky' shot. As well as photography, I enjoy reading and writing and also try my hand at translations, mainly english-german, german-english. I have a keen interest in foreign languages and linguistics as such. Poetry is another passion of mine and has been with me since my youth. I draw my inspiration from Life, The Word and everything else that God has given us.
